Presentación

On behalf of the Asociación Cultural Trompetas de Gran Canaria we are pleased to present the first edition of the International Trumpet, Education and Health Symposium to be held in the building of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria (Spain) from 5th to 8th July 2018.

The University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria collaborates in organizing this event. It will be a place to meet a significant number of national and international trumpet players and educators. The Symposium will include different activities such as lectures, workshops, initiation to the ensemble of trumpets, simulation of orchestral auditions, academic research posters, exhibitors and concerts, among others.

With this symposium, this group of trumpet players aims to promote communication and the exchange of knowledge among professionals and students around the world in an incomparable setting such as Gran Canaria, place of privileged climate and beaches, rich history and nature, and with a long tradition as one of the most touristic locations in the world.

Looking forward to meet you in Gran Canaria, receive a warm greeting from the Organizing Committee and myself.
